Opening TNEF Files / "winmail.dat" files on OSX
There are a couple of utilities on OSX to open the extremely annoying TNEF files distributed by Outlook & Outlook Express (aka “winmail.dat” files). SSH Tunneling
If you are on a dynamic IP address and need to access content from a fixed address, the simple answer is to setup a “tunnel” on a machine with a fixed IP address: ssh -L 8888:www.google.co.uk:80 user@remote-computer -N Then simply go to: http://localhost:8888 Full reference or see the SSH man page.
