If your using Spamassassin and have noticed increased processing time for emails, check that the Spamassassin configuration is no longer using the dnsbl completewhois.com . The site seems down indefinitely, which will mean SA requests will timeout and your log files will be full of ‘named’ timeout errors - ending something like this:
combined-HIB.dnsiplists.completewhois.com/A’ (in ‘combined-HIB.dnsiplists.completewhois.com’?): disabling EDNS
Disabling the SA rules (by setting them to 0 in local.cf) didn’t work for me, but commenting them out in ‘/usr/share/spamassassin/20_dnsbl_tests.cf’ did the trick!
